At its inception, the National Association of Facility Management and Building Operation Service Providers resolved to establish a Benchmarking working group as one of its first tasks, to ensure that it received up-to-date information on the FM market, including the size of the market, trends in the market, and comparative data on market prices. The working group has been very busy over the last 7 years: the group has been active not only in relation to the work itself, but has also contributed on the social level, always ensuring that there’s a positive atmosphere and that discussions are constructive.
Since 2013, we’ve prepared a quarterly sentiment index of facility management professionals, which provides insight into possible changes in the market. You’ll find here the latest data
One of the most difficult tasks is to determine the size of the facility management market, because often the very definition of the profession is not clear, and the available data is inaccurate and incomplete. The working group undertook to determine this, making estimates as to the role of the FM market in the national economy.

At the end of 2013, the National Association of Facility Management and Building Operation Service Providers (LEO FM) was formed, with the stated aim of bringing facility management service providers together onto one platform. Currently, 14 market-leading service providers are members. The association has set up several working groups, including the Benchmarking working group, to allow it to continuously add value to the facility management profession. Both the association and this particular project welcome all who’d like to join.
